CRESTED BUTTE WILDFLOWER FESTIVAL | OPEN
Having already created the environment and elements for the 2018 Crested Butte Wildflower Festival poster, I was itching to breathe life into the scene via animation. I've had a long time infatuation with hummingbirds and how they move, thus this animated open was born.

Since 1986, Crested Butte - "The Wildflower Capital of Colorado", has hosted the Festival for visitors from all over the nation to become educated and enjoy the local landscape and it's colorful blanket of flowers.

Each year a contest is held to create the poster that's designated to serve as the visual icon for the festival. I was excited for the challenge and even more delighted to hear my my design had been chosen to join the 30+ year history of designs.
